Arsenic Trioxide

Arsenic Trioxide finds application as a precursor to various forestry products, manufacturing of colorless glass, and electronic industries. It is known to be the precursor to arsenic alloys and semiconductors. This compound has chemical formula As2O3 with molecular weight of 197.841 g/mol. It appears as white colored solid which is soluble in water and dilute acids & alkalis. Arsenic Trioxide is also known to be of medical use as it shows ability to induce tumor cells to undergo apoptosis. It is highly pure in nature and shows melting & boiling points of 312.2 & 465 degrees Celsius respectively.
