Gold Chloride is an inorganic compound which physically appears as a yellow to orange colored crystalline powder with a purity of 99 percent. This water soluble chemical dissolves completely in water to make an electrically conductive aqueous solution due to chlorides present in it. The chemical formula of this compound is HAuCl4.XH2O with a formula weight of 339.79 grams per mol. It can be used in the production of highly stable nanosized colloidal gold particles in solution.
